Merry News Tops 10,000 Subscribers
November 12, 2006 -- High seasonal traffic to Merry Network sites has pushed double-opt in subscribers to the Merry News to more than 10,000 subscribers. Since developing the Merry News as an HTML email vehicle and archiving the newsletter at MerryNews.com it has received an additional estimated view of more than 180,000 visitors via the website since launching in October 2006.

20,000 Posts now on the Merry Forums
November 12, 2006 -- Site users at My Merry Christmas recently added their 20,000th post to the Merry Forums, tripling the content of the forums in less than 60 days. With the 2006 holiday season now upon us growth of the forums will continue at a rapid rate.

Merry Christmas Radio.com Launches Broadcast
October 28, 2006 -- Merry Christmas Radio is now on the air! Saturday, October 28, 2006 the station went live at 12:30pm MDT with Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song" the first musical selection offered. In all, more than 3 hours of rotated Christmas traditional favorites are being broadcast. New audio content will be added over the next several weeks. In the first 24 hours of broadcasting the station had more than 120 listeners logging more than 50 listener hours to the station. More than 25 of those listeners marked Merry Christmas Radio.com as favored presets.

Promotional Partnership with ChristmasWishlist.net Announced
October 21, 2006 -- My Merry Christmas.com will partner with Christmas Wishlist.net for the 2006 holiday season. Christmas Wishlist.net has been a long-time link partner of My Merry Christmas and offers an unique and free wishlist/gift registry service for their site users. The cross-promotion makes Christmas Wishlist.net the official provider of wishlist services to My Merry Christmas.com users.

Santa Update.com Redesigned for Christmas 2006
October 21, 2006 -- Santa Update.com received it's first redesign since it was officially launched 4 years ago. Santa Update distributes the world-famous Update from the North Pole, a free non-commercial publication that tracks Santa Claus beginning on Thanksgiving Day all the way through Christmas morning. Santa Update.com also feeds the updates to dozens of websites during the holiday period. In 2005, Santa Update.com received more than 500,000 visitors on Christmas Eve alone. The Merry Network once again employed the talented design services of Killer Webs to complete the project.

Merry Network Announces Acquisition of Non-Holiday Web Sites
October 7th, 2006 -- The Merry Network announced today the acquisition of four non-holiday websites: PixGuy.com, SmileyFiles.com, DotPeddler.com and ProphetAbility.com. "The seasonality of our other sites demand expansion into the non-holiday arena," said Jeff Westover of The Merry Network. "With these sites we can now begin to generate revenue year-round to help support ongoing operations. Pix Guy.com is a free image hosting site and photo showcase. Through the site users can host their images and organize photos into professional albums. Smiley Files is a free smiley site the Merry Network plans to expand to support humor-related content. DotPeddler.com is a webmaster resource site dedicated to developing, marketing and reselling Internet properties. Christmasology.com Enjoys Brisk Traffic and Popularity
October 5th, 2006 -- The first two weeks of operation of Christmasology.com have brought unprecedented success for a Merry Network site -- more than 1500 Christmasology quizes have been administered and the site is still receiving thousands of visitors per day. While an initial flash of traffic and participation was expected for the site from regulars on the many forums operated by The Merry Network volume of such magnitude this early in the season was not expected. Christmasology.com looks like a winner!

October 5th, 2006 -- The Merry Network announced today the sale of the domain name ChristmasLettersFromSanta.com to a private investor.

Merry News Expands
September 30th, 2006 -- The Merry News is a popular "ezine" providing subscribers with emailed links and featurettes from the many sites of the Merry Network. The Merry News is one of our oldest publications, dating back to our offline-only efforts started in 1991. The Merry News now gathers email subscribers and news tips via Merry News.com -- the 19th active website of the network.

Christmasology.com Launched
September 24th, 2006 -- Christmasology.com was launched today as the newest site in the Merry Network. Christmasology is a quiz site dedicated to the furthering of Christmas education. By taking and passing a series of brief tests a site user can become a certified "Christmasologist". On the opening day of operation more than 75 tests were administered on the site!

Christmas Talk.com Relaunched
September 17th, 2006 -- Working to maintain the site's PR2 status, the Merry Network re-launched Christmas Talk.com today. With a focus on foods, crafts, projects, activities and families at Christmas. The site will work to develop original content, strategic partnerships and community growth within the framework of other network sites.

Merry Network Traffic Breaks Record for August
September 15th, 2006 -- Internet traffic to Merry Network sites broke records in the month of August. Lead by My Merry Christmas.com, the Merry Network overall improved 57% in unique visitors to network sites over the same period a year ago.

ChristmasTalk.com Acquired by The Merry Network
August 31st, 2006 -- Another premium Christmas forum domain has been acquired by the Merry Network. Christmas Talk.com is a PR2 domain that is two years old. While the site has been neglected it does rank in search engines and has "Christmas" as a keyword within the domain, making it valuable. The forums will be refurbished and relaunched later in September by the Merry Network.

August 24, 2006 -- The Merry Network acquired "Christmas Cheap.com", "Christmas Freebie.com" and "Unplug Christmas.com" from a domain developer. These domains were acquired without websites and have no known Internet traffic or history. The domains will be added to the Merry Network portfolio and are not expected to be developed any time soon.

August 22, 2006 -- Talk Christmas.com, newly acquired and freshly redesigned, was launched today by the Merry Network in association with JingleBellJunction.com. JingleBell Junction has been online since 2000 and is a popular resource for Christmas enthusiasts online.
